ODP Day 14: Asymmetrical

It is getting ever so late, and I really need to go to bed. I've been Pampered Chefing since 7pm when I started making my 'Warm Calls'. (Aren't I business-like?) After designated Warm Call time ended, I finalized and closed a show. I took a tea break somewhere in the middle of that. And now it's 10.30, and I'm exhausted.

I feel compelled to post our outfits today though, even if I have to postpone talking about my awesome trip to the Hicks Family Farm Pumpkin Patch to tomorrow night. I really, really want to blog about the Pumpkin Patch.

Today I wore The Dress (I've gone back to its original name. I have gotten over my hatred phase... for now.) tied up on the side 80s style with jeans and a black running jacket. I wore my orange shoes, because, duh, pumpkins! I went all asymmetrical too, with my dress bunched up on one side, and a barrette in my hair on the other. I've never been able to pull off the One-Sided-Barrette concept, but I went with it today, and it didn't annoy me as much as I thought it would. I also added a long, double-looped black beaded necklace, which didn't last all day with a 15 month old.

Fifi wore Her Dress with a light brown horse jumper over it and a gray sleeveless sweater over that, with white tights. You'd think it was cold or something. It wasn't. She wore her silver sparkly slip-ons which have seen better days by this point. I think she's over her frustration with the dress too; she was excited about putting it on this morning.

Och, which reminds me, I didn't wash it for her tonight, and it has orange juice stains. Oh well, I'll make sure she layers again tomorrow.
