THE BIGGEST CAUSE of the current malnutrition was "cheap food" policy beginning with the Dept. of Ag. in the 60's. "Cheap food" means near mono-culture (everything just about is made from corn), the tax payer subsidizes the agronomic industrial complex, the real cost of "food" production is hidden--especially the environmental and societal destruction, and "convenience" has replaced "wholesome".<br /><br />I could go on and on and on about this....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
