We devote so much of our time creating an outwardly projected image--then we begin at some point to think that is "me". It isn't. She never "fit in" as a young adult in that tradition. I, on the other hand, did. Now, she's part of an older tradition whilst "fitting in" in a way more consistent with her liking.
